Anaïs Pessoz et Lionel Pennings
The meeting of two plastic universes.
In his work, Lionel Pennings explores the museographic aesthetic by staging the artifacts he creates in order to give them a poetic charge and establish a link between the spectator and a story to invent. It is inspired by archaeological and scientific devices to guide the viewer and confront him to a collective imagination.
Anaïs Pessoz's creations combine organic matter with what appears to be objects from a chemistry or biology laboratory. Glass, copper, steel assemble as a receptacle or pedestal that reveal bones, a part of an animal body or ash from flesh combustion.
